After quite a hectic weekend, including our family photo session with the lovely Janine Coveney I was completely shattered on Monday afternoon. Normally this is where I would sit quietly and sip a glass of wine, ok well more likely drink the first glass quite quickly and get a second!
Not possible at the moment seeing that I am sticking to lent. I have come so far after a pretty thorough detox, so it seemed pointless to ruin it, so close to the finish.
The only other activity I can think of that comes close to a refreshing beverage, is photography. So with camera, I went down to Tally bridge. Even when I had to sit in the car for 10 minutes and let the rain pass I still managed to time it perfectly and watch the sun go down. Me the only person on the beach, standing in the warm water and two other brave souls off in the distance fishing.
Driving home I felt calm and happy, that’s how I know for sure I am meant to see the world this way, in frames!

so beautiful, nicole. i feel the same way. it’s therapy. i would like to wander off with my camera more often. that last shot is amazing!! i had lots of fun with you guys. Jx
